Testimonials
"I have been fortunate to participate in Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady’s Summer Associate Program where I learned a depth of knowledge and had a wonderful summer immersing myself in the legal field. This has been a truly incredible opportunity that I would highly recommend to any law student.
As a summer associate, I learned invaluable lessons, experiencing hands-on legal work and learning from knowledgeable attorneys who were eager to help and impart their knowledge of the legal profession to me. The firm and attorneys cared about my professional and academic growth, providing me with assignments that I am interested in and taking time out of their day to explain legal procedures to me and ask if I had any questions. This opportunity offered me a wide range of projects such as drafting memorandums on cases, researching legal issues, complying a database for damages, witnessing a mediation, taking part in discovery, and more through which I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, improved my legal writing and research skills, and acquired hand on experience working in the legal profession.
I feel indebted to Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady for this incredible opportunity, and I would highly recommend the Summer Associate Program to any law student looking for hands-on experience in a firm that truly cares about providing a meaningful internship where you will learn a depth of knowledge from the caring and very successful attorneys. I am convinced that all that I have learned this summer will not only help me in law school but will be invaluable to me as I enter into my professional career."

"During this summer with Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady, I learned invaluable lessons and skills that I am confident I will use not only in my academics, but throughout my legal career. My time at the firm was nothing short of substantive, insightful, and rewarding. During my time this summer, I had the opportunity to sit in on depositions and attend court proceedings which gave me first-hand legal experiences that deepened my understanding of the law and the kind of work I wish to do in the future. Additionally, I was able to improve my legal research, writing, and analytical skills through my work and gain confidence in tackling tasks that I had not dealt with before. From focused research to drafting letters to clients, the work at Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady helped me grow as a legal professional. The attorneys I worked with were always willing to help, and provided not only clarity on my work, but also general advice. Overall, Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady is a firm that cares about their summer associates and their growth."

"I had the honor of participating in Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady’s program for summer associates. I have had the privilege of getting real world experience in the legal system that I hadn’t received up until this point. The attorneys and paralegals that I had the pleasure of working with were incredibly insightful, willing to teach, and provided an atmosphere for me to delve into the legal world. I was able to conduct my own research, draft several responses, listen into depositions, engage with attorneys about strategies and approaches to specific situations. While participating in the program, my writing and research skills have drastically improved, in no small part to the feedback that I received from the other members of the firm. After participating in the program, I feel more comfortable entering the legal profession, and have full confidence that the skills and knowledge I obtained during the program will help jump start my career as an attorney. Thank you to everyone at the firm for providing the opportunity for me, and I’m grateful to have spent my summer at Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP."

“I’ve been lucky enough to participate in Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady’s Summer Associate Program for the past two summers. My experience has been wonderful, as I’ve been given the opportunity to work alongside talented attorneys who have helped me to develop my legal research and writing skills. I’ve been able to draft numerous motions, review insurance policies, work on discovery responses, sit in on depositions, and research a broad scope of legal questions throughout my time with the firm. Each person I’ve had the opportunity to work with has been incredibly helpful, giving me insightful feedback and answering any questions I might have along the way. After my first summer, I knew I wanted to continue working with the firm and was given the opportunity to continue clerking part-time during the school year. During that time, I grew to appreciate the firm’s friendly and supportive atmosphere even more. Since then, I have been offered a position to work with the firm post-graduation. Being able to work at Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady has given me invaluable experience and I look forward to continuing to grow with the firm.”
