Biography
Bridget focuses her practice primarily upon insurance defense where she represents businesses, individuals, local governments and municipalities in general insurance, personal injury, motor vehicle, premises liability, asbestos and labor law litigation actions. She also represents insurance companies in subrogation actions. In addition to her insurance defense practice, Bridget actively represents businesses in commercial and contract disputes and sellers and purchasers in commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Before coming to Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP, Bridget served as an attorney at defense firms where she defended insurance companies and their insureds, municipalities and local governments in a multitude of actions. Prior to that, Bridget worked as a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer where she focused her practice primarily on lead paint litigation and real estate. Bridget’s prior experience at a diverse group of firms has given her the tools to provide optimum results for her clients.
Bridget also has experience in family, matrimonial, criminal, DWI/traffic, bankruptcy, and workers’ compensation matters. She has trial experience in the following areas of law: insurance defense, personal injury, small claims, landlord-tenant, and family law matters.
In her spare time, Bridget loves spending time with her husband and son traveling, entertaining friends and family and spending time at their camp in the Adirondacks.

Representative Matters
Represented concrete supplier against claims of breach of contract allegedly valued at $124 million and obtained a dismissal of all claims against it.
Represented and defended school district up through and including trial against claims of negligent supervision and obtained a no cause of action.
Obtained dismissal of all claims against property owner asserted by individual claiming personal injuries after an accident in the front of the owner’s private residence.
Obtained dismissal of all claims against construction company asserted by homeowner for personal injuries after exposure to carbon monoxide in the home.
Represented insurance company against claims made by its insured for property damage pursuant to Navigation Law and obtained a dismissal of all claims against it.
Represented local government against claims made by an individual for personal injuries and obtained a dismissal of all claims against the county.
Represented medical provider against wrongful death claims valued in excess of $2 million and obtained a dismissal of all claims against provider.
Represented product manufacturer in multiple lawsuits wherein plaintiff alleged asbestos exposure and obtained multiple dismissals in favor of the product manufacturer.
