Chris is a proven trial lawyer with a track record of achieving tremendous results for clients. He serves as national defense counsel for insured and self-insured clients from a diverse range of industries. He has more than 75 jury verdicts, all of which have resulted in defense verdicts or verdicts lower than client’s last settlement offer in damages only trials.

Chris focuses his practice on malpractice and negligence claims against nursing homes and long-term-care facilities, as well as complex litigation arising from trucking, labor law worksite injury, commercial premises, automobile, product and municipal losses. He has extensive experience in Federal Court as well as throughout the New York court system, including the New York State Supreme Court and New York State Appellate Division.

In almost 25 years of practice, he honed and focused his skills in trial work, including serving as the Vice Chair of the American Bar Association Trial Tactics Committee — which is the largest group of trial attorneys in the country. He has also written articles and given lectures on jury selection, trial tactics, and closing arguments. Chris is often called upon by clients to parachute into large exposures as trial counsel.
