Biography
Chris focuses his practice on insurance defense matters where he zealously represents clients in a variety of matters including, premises liability; automobile; wrongful death; assault; and defamation claims, to name a few. He has experience in both navigating the traditional courtroom, as well as, alternative dispute resolution avenues. Chris brings a pragmatic approach to quickly and efficiently resolve claims with the client’s interests in mind.
Chris joins the firm from a boutique Connecticut firm that focuses on insurance defense and worker’s compensation but also allowed him to experience a wide range of other legal disciplines from plaintiff’s injury work to business formations and probate. Chris brings with him that experience when working with clients to analyze claims and determine the best outcome for clients.
Chris believes in good communication with clients and strives to make the process of litigation understandable and accessible for anyone he represents.
Chris is originally from South Carolina, with his accent being noticed by most, but has set roots in Connecticut and enjoys raising his daughter and cleft-lip cat, King Tutt, with his wife. When not working Chris explores the various breweries around Connecticut and is on a mission to try the food, and national drink, from every country.

Representative Matters
Obtained summary judgment at Superior Court on behalf of property owner against tenant having established that the lease demised the entirety of the property to tenant.
Obtained summary judgment on statute of limitation issue wherein plaintiff claimed multiple dates of “injury” and defend subsequent appeal ensuring the withdrawal of the appeal
Successfully dismiss appeal brought by contractor related to the granting of summary judgment on the duty to defend
Successfully dismiss claims brought by condominium owner under CIOA on mootness and justiciability, as well as, prepare brief to Appellate Court wherein judgment was affirmed.
