Biography
Kelly is a key member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where she brings substantial experience defending individuals and corporations in high‑exposure and complex matters. She manages a sophisticated caseload involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, abuse and sexual assault claims, lead poisoning, fire losses, and wrongful death actions. She is also well‑versed in navigating intricate risk‑transfer issues in multifaceted legal disputes.
Kelly oversees all stages of pre‑suit investigation and litigation, from case inception through discovery and motion practice. A seasoned litigator, she has extensive experience taking and defending depositions and has represented clients in both New York and Florida State Courts, as well as before the New York State Division of Human Rights (NYSDHR).
Her thoughtful approach is reflected in her strong track record of results, including multiple dismissals in small claims court—most recently obtaining early dismissal of a sexual assault matter at the outset of discovery.
Before joining the firm, Kelly practiced as an associate attorney in Florida for a managed health care services company, where she successfully overturned complex healthcare insurance claim denials, resulting in significant reimbursements for hospital clients. Her work has consistently reflected her personal mission as an attorney: to advocate zealously and ethically for those she represents.
A double-major graduate in Psychology and Criminology from Florida State University, Kelly earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. This unique background allows her to approach complex litigation with a deep understanding of human behavior and ethical advocacy. Originally from Miami, Kelly is an avid runner and museum enthusiast who enjoys spending her time outdoors with friends and family.
